Luscious Libido Lifting Smoothie!

I can’t seem to help myself, I seem to be on a smoothie roll this week! Must be the delicious almond milk I made at the beginning of the week along with some of the tasty fruit I just bought at Whole Foods Market yesterday! One gentle squeeze and whiff of that peach and I had to buy some.

This morning I was running just a little bit late and had to quickly make something that would satisfy my taste buds, keep me satiated, and be nutritious! So I pulled out the ingredients that I had around and came up with a new smoothie I would like to dub: The Luscious Libido Lifting Smoothie! Oh yeah! It is tasty, otherwise I wouldn’t share it, it is satisfying and I feel energized from it! Wanna know what’s in it?

Back to the smoothie at hand. One of the main reasons I call this the Libido Lifting Smoothie, is because of the maca powder I use in it. As you may have read in my previous post where I shared my PROTEIN PUNCH SEXY SUPERFOOD SMOOTHIE, Maca is known as the Andean Aphrodisiac! Ingredients for the Libido Lifting Smoothie:

  • 1 – 1  1/2 cups of almond milk (homemade preferably – I love making my own)
  • 1 pitted and skinned peach
  • 1/2 mango skinned
  • 1-2 tbsp ground flax seed
  • 1 tbsp maca powder
  • 1-2 tbsp hemp seed powder
  • a few cubes of ice
