Status Quo OR Grow? & How to Make Almond Milk!

Video 7 0 00 07-20

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about this past year and all that has transpired in my life. Truth be told, about a year ago, after a sad breakup, I moved out of the house that I was living in with my ex-boyfriend. I decided to leave much of my furniture there since he was the sole caretaker of his sweet son. So I moved into a furnished basement apartment. It was a lovely neighborhood and close to my acupuncture practice, but needless to say, especially living in rainy Portland, it was a bit dreary.

I decided to make the absolute best of the situation though, and having a fire place did help ;). Since then, I’ve been working hard to help other women live their most vibrant, healthy and happy lives, while I’ve been doing the same thing.

You see, I’m not interested in the status quo, I am interested in GROWING and THRIVING, and my PURPOSE is to INSPIRE YOU to help you do the same! I’ve been creating awesome programs and working with a spectacular mentor, I’ve moved out of the basement and into my sweet new little cottage… check out this video to see my new space!

The other thing that has stretched me and helped me grow is putting together and hosting a tele-summit that is beginning Tuesday, October 25th at 11:30 a.m. PT! PS Here is the almond milk recipe that I promised you! I really do NOT like store bought, but I LOVE homemade!

Almond Milk Recipe

• 1 cup of raw almonds

• 3 cups of filtered water

• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

• 1/2 teaspoon organic vanilla extract (optional)

• 1-teaspoon organic raw agave nectar (optional)

• ~Soak the raw almonds over night

• ~Discard that water

(I’ve been removing the skins from the almonds before blending, it takes about 5-10 minutes of your time, but it’s worth it!)

• ~Blend together all ingredients…

• ~If your milk is too “pulpy”, strain the *almond meal through a

cheese cloth or nut milk bag that you can purchase at health food store…. Squeeze it all out…

• Use on cereal, on oatmeal, straight up, in a smoothie…yum

• *You can use the almond meal for other recipes too, try it in baking or coating chicken!
