Fortunately, we can take those amazingly harvested berries (and I know you pick them) and we can freeze them or dehydrate them for use in the winter. But it is also great that there are good and nutritious seasonal foods as well like the winter squashes... I&#039;m thinking butternut squash recipe next week eh?

		<description>I love eating seasonally. Several years ago I read a life changing article on how our bodies have evolved to function optimally when we eat according to the seasons. It&#039;s not an easy shift to make but small steps are manageable.  The first change I made was promising myself that we wouldn&#039;t buy strawberries in January. Of course, I&#039;m talking as  Pacific Northwest Girl looking at berries coming from Equador.  We all have different foods that are seasonal to us-my berries could be your peas, etc.
