Yes Dianne, water ionizers are like a filtration system. I actually called it a water filter and my friend corrected me and reminded me that it is an ionization system. I have drank water from a Kangen ionizer and I have to say that I was less hungry and seemed to curb the cravings of popcorn, chocolate, etc. Cutting out the plastic bottles that might be leaching toxins into my water is high on my priority list...that is why I am considering purchasing a Kangen water filter.

Peace, Love and Salud,

Tomasa,

Thanks so much for your feedback. It is also my preference to use non-petroleum based products as well. I also love my lip balm it is by Pangea Organics out of Boulder, CO. It has essential oils of red mandarin and rose... Are the water ionizers a filtration like system? I know your water is awesome, but imagine it would be great to eliminate the use of plastic bottles.

Thanks again for your valuable feedback.

Be Well,
Dianne

Dianne,

Love your blog. I can't wait to try your recipe - I love making products with essential oils.
Might I add that I prefer to use products that aren't petroleum based for my personal care. For example, I use Jason's vitamin C lip balm to remedy my chapped lips.

As you know and have witnessed, I drink Essentia Water. I believe that this has been essential in reducing my dry skin and chapped lips this time of year. Essentia Water has a ph of 9.5 and has been ionized. Our bodies can absorb the water molecule clusters much easier, thus allowing us to hydrate efficiently. I am always looking for better solutions for my health...my friend who sells water ionizers by Kangen Water says that it is even better than my bottled Essentia Water...hmmm something that I am currently investigating.

I usually have OMEGA 3 oil on my whole cooked grains daily so I'm sure that has contributed towards my less dry skin.

Thanks for posting and helping me to process why my skin is less dry.

Namaste,
