dianne delreyes, the anti-aging artist See ya soon
Hi Dianne
Looks like a nice blog in the making, What is an anti-aging artist?
I think I have done most of the vids of gideon and yaro, but I am finding the video and audio too hard to do until I get a proper microphone, my laptop one sounds very fuzzy. The task seems to be to just get the content ideas down and the structure. I am starting to get more ideas. I will be doing some more today.
I started on the life story part yesterday, thats a fun thing to do.
enjoy
glad to keep n touch
Brigid
Hi Brigid,
Thanks for response and encouragement.
To answer your question, The Anti-Aging Artist is essentially a wellness coach, mainly for women ages 35-55. What I want to share on this blog is valuable ways to create health, balance and well-being.
I want to create a community here. I want to look at all aspects of what health is. We will talk about nutrition, fitness, stress management, emotional health and spirituality. I am a licensed acupuncturist and have a masters degree in Chinese Medicine. I have had a private practice for aout seven years. I’ve also been studying nutrition for a long time as well.
The spiritual aspect will come in the form of dharma discussions. I have been studying and practicing yoga for more than seven years and have an abundance of information to share of ways to help us move more freely and happily through the world. I think the dharma discussions will be on Wednesdays, Hump Day dharma, what do you think?
Since it appears that you are in my target age group, is there anything in particular that you would like to see addressed?
I think most anti-aging co’s tend to only focus on things like wrinkles and although I think that good skin care is really important, I like to look at all of the pieces of whole health..
does this give you an idea of what The Anti-Aging Artist is?
So do you know how to get rid of that sentence under my title that says “just another wordpress weblog”? If so, if you could please let me know that would be great.
Did they give you any recommendations for microphone and video camera?
Did the content area of the videos help you? Are you going to do any affiliate marketing? How are you going to get traffic to your site?
Okay, sorry for all the questions, your site looks amazing.
What is our time difference anyway. I live in Portland OR US.
Take good care,
Dianne
Hey there Dianne
I checked out the WP site about changing your heading, it was something I was interested in finding as well.
So you go to the admin page/then to settings /then to “general”it should be under “blog title” and maybe you have a tagline area as well. If you have the wordpress subtitle there maybe deleting it should work.
I changed mine this way, hope it works the same for you.
Not sure about the video yet, but they give info on the best microphos to use. My computer one is hopeless.
Yep, I intend to affiliate, definitely, but have to get traffic first. Working on the SEO thing, still not sure how it works yet. I tried to use the SEO plugin, but it doesn’t seem to work. I might have to put it out to the forum.
I like the name, Anti-Aging Artist. Very catchy. And it sounds like we are on the same page on the ideas for our blogs, it would be fun to brainstorm.
Like you, I had no idea I could get a plugin, the only plug I knew of was to do with the electric kettle! Its very exciting and I am so happy to have the help of the videos.
So sensible and down to earth.
My work history is Registered nurse 30 yr ago, then Remedial Massage for 20 years, Bowen Therapist for 10 yrs and I also do Flower Essences and Energy work. The mind body connection is what I find very interesting, I am experiment ing with that quite a lot lately.
Nice to hear from you
Cheers
Brigid
and about the time difference
I have a few sons living in Whistler, British Columbia, and I gather Portland would be the same as that
so I think 5pm 10th Aug here is 11pm 9th Aug over there
I could be a bit out, but thats about it
Bye
Brigid

Hey Dianne,
I really like what you have done here with creating this website. I look forward to reading all the information that you submit here.

This is really great information. I have found that there is a lot of misinformation on the internet about health issues therefore I appreciate your great content. I find that regular activity, such as running, is good for your health and will help you keep fit. Personally I love starting my day with some simple yoga exercises. I find this a very good natural antiaging remedy. What does anyone else think on this?
Hi Shaoun,
Thanks so much for your feed back and suggestions.
I completely agree that fitness, any daily movement is very important for your over all health and well-being.
I am a big advocate of walking (briskly) as often as possible and outdoors as often as possible.
I love the idea of starting your day with morning yoga stretches and poses, it really gets your qi (energy) flowing through your body! That and a tall glass of water first thing in the morning…can’t beat it.
Thanks for your thoughts and Happy New Year!
In fabulous Health
Dianne
